Simple Basic Colors in Painting






I never imagined I would be hooked with this type of hobby. It was a struggle really at first since I have to follow painters in Youtube and I get upset if it doesn't look right. Well, painting is a hobby, not another stress. So, I just read about primary colors. What color comes out if you mix them. Thanks to my 3rd grader for the tutorial. hahaha.
From then, I started to have an idea, which color goes with what and when you look at your painting as a whole they blend.
I did not start buying paint stuff as crazy. I want to test the water as the saying goes and it's either you have it or not. If you don't have it, move along. Simple as that.
So, I started with a cute canvas just an 8" x 10". Like what I said from my other post, start with a type of paint that will give you a solid color. Just buy a set of paint that gives you black, white, red, blue, and yellow. Then you are all set. Mixing these primary colors is a lot of fun. Start a very small portion of each color till you get the right color that you want for your painting.
Paint the background first, then the subject of your painting.
I started with a cup of coffee just with a simple blend of colors as a background. I love coffee and as soon as I hang this cute painting in my kitchen, I said to myself, "mmm. I am now Picasso." hahaha.

! I grew my first batch of Daikon radishes because it is hard to find where I live now. I was happy it went well until tiny bugs pester it and the leaves got holes and white spots. So, I read a few articles about it but I do not want to spray anything chemical on my veggies. I want it organic as possible. So, I mixed 1 teaspoon of baking soda ( the one you used for making cookies) and 1 Liter of water. Shake the bottle so the soda particles will liquefy... Emotional Color Flowers Bring

What is behind flowers that can make anyone smile back at you when giving it to them? What is behind flower power or what is the emotional impact of flowers? Serotonin is a hormone in the brain that makes happy thoughts. When you give flowers to anyone, it instantly generates smiles.
